Interactive Elementary School Assembly Program
Featuring Steve and The Brain
Created for grades 3, 4, 5 & 6
Younger version available only if booked the same day
Ventriloquist Steve Petra's hilarious exploration of literacy and its elements. Reading is more than just fun; it's science, history, exploration and communication. Reading Rampage will ignite students' awareness of the power in the words they read and write each day.

Segments Include:
- Pump Up Your Vocabulary
- Something Spells Funny In Here
- Painting Pictures With Words
- Punctuation Lobster Challenge
- What's In The Library
Reading Rampage is like a wild Language Arts class where the kids participate from the audience and up on stage. During the show, Steve brings kids up separately and in small groups for demonstrations and challenges. Students interact with Steve's cast of bizarre characters including The Brain, Pierre Lobsterre, Demento and Pigcasso The Word Hog.
Reading Rampage was created for grades 3, 4, 5 & 6 and covers grade appropriate literacy concepts. We also have a younger version of the show (available if booked the same day as the older version) with specific age appropriate content. Because of differences in the Language Arts curriculum for different grade levels, we strongly recommend that you book the older and the younger versions of the show and separate the grades.
Please Note: Reading Rampage is not available for evening PARP.
The show features audience participation, illusions, original songs and music. Ask for the Teacher's Guide. BOCES assisted.
